Its rays shine forth casting its light.
Although hidden, its presence is known.
Not in the foreground yet visible to all.
Up ahead dark clouds draw by.
Is a storm on the approach?
Or passing on its way?
Dense, intangible, floating entities,
Their wispy vapours emerge from within.
Do we look to the left with its warmth and light?
Or to darkness unfolding into the night?
The city is still, towering tall.
It is the constant, un-a-changing.
Whilst nature glides past, ever moving,
Circling, enveloping, the elements breathe life.
There is no ray nor drop of dew
That a likens another nor lingers long.
Each time the sky glows or water falls
A new design is released for the briefest of moments.
